BTC Digital Stocks Surge on Hosting Deals and AI Ambitions
BTC Digital Ltd.'s stocks have surged by 12.4% in recent trading, driven by optimism surrounding its hosting deals and AI ambitions.
The company has made significant progress with its infrastructure build-out, including the completion of a 10MW cryptocurrency computing facility in Georgia, which is expected to start deploying high-performance mining machines within two months.
BTC Digital has also signed multiple hosting agreements with Tianci entities, providing power, cooling, connectivity, and on-site support at its Arkansas facility and other locations. Additionally, the company has a non-binding MOU with Tianci International for an approximately 3 MW crypto computing power and hosting project.
The firm is not only focused on Bitcoin mining but also exploring opportunities in AI infrastructure, with a potential large-scale AI data center project in Vietnam that could reach up to ~300 MW of planned power load. The company has regained Nasdaq compliance with the $1 minimum bid rule, easing near-term delisting risk.
