BTC Faces Crucial Resistance at Three Key Levels Ahead of $90,000
Bitcoin is once again pushing toward its upper range after recovering from September lows. The daily chart remains bullish, with the price above major moving averages and a recent high near $87,000.
However, three significant resistance levels stand between BTC and $90,000: $86,900, $87,700, and $88,000. These levels are concentrated in perpetual futures order data, making them key to watch as the price approaches $90,000.
The first level at $86,900 is especially important because it overlaps with recent price action. A decisive move through this barrier would be a technical breakout and absorption of a significant derivatives sell wall.
Momentum currently supports another attempt at reaching $90,000, but these sell walls should not be treated as guaranteed resistance. The more useful confirmation would be price actually trading through these levels while maintaining the breakout afterward.
