BTC Posts Three Straight Months of Gains for First Time Since 2012
Bitcoin has achieved something it hasn't done in over a decade - three consecutive months of price gains. The last time this happened was in 2012, when BTC posted gains of 41.0% in July, 6.4% in August, and 24.4% in September.
The current streak has Bitcoin up roughly 10.9% for the month as of September 23, trading in the $86,140 to $86,500 range. The surge in August was particularly notable, with a 25.2% single-month gain.
Analysts are cautious about drawing parallels between the current situation and the 2012 precedent, citing the vastly different market conditions and structural changes over the past 14 years.
