BTC Price Holds Above $86,000 as $1.7B Flows into U.S. Spot ETFs
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF inflows reached $1.7 billion over two sessions as the BTC price held above $86,000. The recovery followed a period of withdrawals in mid-September, when outflows totaled $450.4 million on September 15 and $295.9 million on September 16.
According to SoSoValue-based data, the funds attracted $998.95 million on September 21 and another $714.75 million on September 22. This brought the two-session total to approximately $1.714 billion.
The recovery also pushed Bitcoin above an estimated average acquisition cost for U.S. spot ETF investors, which Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart placed around $81,722 per BTC.
BlackRock's iShares product remained the largest U.S. spot Bitcoin fund by assets, with IBIT holding near $67.9 billion in its latest product table.
