BTC Price May Be at Bottom as Bear Market Lingers
Bitcoin's (BTC) price has been hovering around $63,000-$64,000 for some time, having dipped nearly 50% since its 2025 all-time high. Reports suggest that the asset may have fallen to its cost of production zone, a level which historically marks a bear market bottom.
According to Forbes, several factors could contribute to Bitcoin's next bull run. A liquidity drain from the cryptocurrency market earlier this year has led some capital to move into the stock market, particularly AI-based stocks. The growth in AI memory chips may be peaking and prices could dip by the end of this year or early 2027, potentially leading to a return of capital to Bitcoin.
Additionally, inflation has been slowly decreasing over the past few months, which could lead to lower interest rates from the Federal Reserve. This, in turn, may give investors more confidence to take on riskier investments, benefiting Bitcoin. The ongoing war between the US and Iran may also be nearing its end, potentially stabilizing oil prices and boosting investor confidence.
