BTC Rebounds Above $77K as Crypto Market Volatility Surges
The U.S.-Iran tensions and upcoming sanctions announcement led to continued elevated long-end yields and energy prices, causing BTC to briefly pull back to around $75,800 over the weekend. However, it rebounded above $77K as the crypto market volatility increased significantly.
Capital flows provided near-term support for the market at elevated price levels, with U.S. spot BTC ETFs recording approximately $1.9 billion in net inflows last week and ETH ETFs attracting around $697 million.
The Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index turned positive for the first time since May 19, indicating a marginal recovery in U.S. spot demand. Despite this, approximately 53,000 BTC flowed into exchanges over the past three days, primarily from short-term holders, suggesting that profit-taking pressure is also increasing.
