BTCC Exchange Concludes World Cup Trading Showdown with Record Volume Surge

BTCC Exchange, the world's longest-serving cryptocurrency exchange and an official sponsor of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), has wrapped up its '15 Years in the Game: The BTCC World Cup Showdown' campaign.

The promotion drew over 80,000 participants and ran concurrently with Argentina's 2026 World Cup knockout journey. Traders were rewarded for timing their activity around the national team's biggest games.

During the campaign, BTCC recorded a 22% increase in futures trading volume compared to pre-campaign levels. This surge directly benefited from the platform's 1.25x volume boost before each Argentina match.

The boost allowed traders to climb the weekly and overall leaderboards. Daily futures trading volume reached approximately $2.84 billion on June 15, ahead of Argentina's match against Algeria. This was a 15% increase above the average of surrounding days.
