BTCC, the oldest cryptocurrency exchange in operation, has unveiled its refreshed Trust Center as part of its 15th-anniversary celebrations. The exchange, which is also a Platinum Sponsor of TOKEN2049 Singapore, emphasized that its long-standing commitment to security has been the cornerstone of its success. Alex Hung, Head of Operations, highlighted that BTCC has endured bull and bear markets, extreme volatility, and evolving regulations, proving its resilience over time. "Any exchange can be built to grow," Hung stated. "The harder thing to build is the resilience to last."
The Trust Center now consolidates BTCC’s security measures, including multi-signature cold storage, 1:1 asset storage, multi-layer risk monitoring, and 24/7 AML controls. The exchange also undergoes independent security audits by CertiK and collaborates with industry leaders like Chainalysis, Forter, and SEON. BTCC reports a 100% reserve ratio through monthly Proof of Reserves and maintains a $25.5 million Risk Reserve Fund. Notably, BTCC has never recorded hacker theft since its founding in 2011.
Hung emphasized that security is not just a selling point but the foundation of BTCC’s operations. "Users do not hand us an account. They hand us their assets and trust," he said. This philosophy underpins BTCC’s 0-Barrier Trading theme, which includes 0 Panic (no hack-related losses), 0 Fees (zero trading fees on 380+ pairs), 0 Distance (24/7 localized support), and 0 Friction (seamless copy trading and TradingView integration).
Looking ahead, BTCC aims to bridge the gap between crypto and traditional financial instruments. The exchange now offers trading in US Stocks, Gold, Forex, Commodities, and more alongside its core crypto products. Hung expressed that BTCC’s goal is not to become the largest exchange but to set higher standards in security and compliance. "We want to build a platform that is more secure, more compliant, and genuinely connected to global markets," he added.
