BTCC Reinforces Trust with Refreshed Security Center After 15 Years
BTCC, the world’s oldest cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled its refreshed Trust Center, reinforcing its commitment to security and transparency. As the company celebrates its 15th anniversary, Alex Hung, Head of Operations, emphasized that BTCC’s focus has always been on resilience rather than just growth. While many exchanges prioritize low fees and new product listings, BTCC has weathered multiple market cycles, regulatory changes, and extreme volatility. Hung stressed that security is not just a selling point but the foundation of everything the exchange does.
The updated Trust Center highlights BTCC’s robust security measures, including multi-signature cold storage, 1:1 asset storage, and 24/7 AML controls. The exchange also partners with leading security firms like CertiK, Chainalysis, and Forter for independent audits. Additionally, BTCC ensures a 100% reserve ratio through monthly Proof of Reserves reports and maintains a $25.5 million Risk Reserve Fund. Notably, the exchange has never recorded any hacker theft since its founding in 2011.
BTCC’s 0-Barrier Trading theme encompasses 0 Panic, 0 Fees, 0 Distance, and 0 Friction, reflecting its dedication to a seamless trading experience. The exchange now offers a wide range of products beyond crypto, including US stocks, gold, forex, and commodities. Hung clarified that BTCC’s goal is not to become the largest exchange but to set higher industry standards for security and compliance. The refreshed Trust Center is now live, and BTCC will be present at TOKEN2049 Singapore as a Platinum Sponsor.
