BTCNow Introduces Five-Year Payment Plan for Bitcoin Purchases
BTCNow has introduced a novel Bitcoin purchasing model that allows customers to lock in a fixed price for Bitcoin while spreading payments over 60 months. The company’s approach ensures that the acquisition price is set at the time of purchase, regardless of future market fluctuations. BitGo provides custody for the Bitcoin held in trust until all payments are completed.
The model differentiates itself from traditional purchasing methods by separating the timing of the Bitcoin acquisition from the payment schedule. Unlike leveraged trading, customers are not at risk of margin calls or forced liquidation due to market drops. This structure encourages a long-term investment mindset rather than short-term trading.
Founder and CEO Marc Dumpff emphasized the benefits of the model, stating, “BTCNow lets customers secure their Bitcoin purchase today and spread the payments over five years. The price is fixed, the payments are predictable and customers don’t have to worry about a market drop triggering a margin call or liquidation.”
Dumpff brings extensive experience in structured finance and fund management to BTCNow, having previously founded a regulated investment fund in Liechtenstein and served as chairman of Satori Group in Hong Kong. The company plans to expand its services across the U.S. in the coming months, aiming for a nationwide rollout.
