Bullish Lists Long-Dated Bitcoin Options Expiring in January 2028
Bullish has expanded its Bitcoin options offerings by listing a contract expiring in January 2028, marking the company's longest-dated product to date. This new option is cash-settled in USDC and expires at 3:05 a.m. ET (8:05 a.m. UTC).
The European-style contract joins existing options contracts that expire on June 30, 2028, and Dec. 29, 2028. Bullish's options schedule now spans approximately 2.5 years.
Bullish has filed for U.S. derivatives exchange and clearinghouse licenses, aiming to expand its services to American clients in the future. The company has already made significant strides, with a quarter-over-quarter trading volume of $11.6 billion ending March 31, 2026.
As of April 2026, Bullish held 14% of Bitcoin options open interest and ranked No. 2 among BTC options exchanges. Bullish CEO Tom Farley expressed satisfaction with the company's first-quarter results and its next phase of growth.
