Busha Unveils Signal by Busha, Licensed Prediction Market

Busha, a Pan-African digital asset exchange, has launched Signal by Busha, a prediction market licensed by the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority. The platform allows users to trade in various markets across sports, crypto, culture, politics, economics, and trending topics.

Existing Busha users can access Signal by Busha using their current accounts, while new users can create a Busha account before connecting it to Signal. Funding for Signal wallets comes directly from Busha wallets, supporting balances in Naira, stablecoins, and other cryptocurrencies available within the Busha app.

Busha co-founder Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi said that prediction markets are gaining recognition as powerful information systems, allowing users to collectively generate valuable signals about future trends. Signal by Busha aims to surface these insights in real-time, giving individuals, businesses, and researchers a new lens for understanding markets and emerging trends.

This launch represents another step in Busha's evolution from a digital asset platform to a broader technology company building products at the intersection of finance, information, and emerging technology.
