Bybit Boosts Borrowing Capacity with Collateral Ratio Hikes
Bybit, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has made significant changes to its Unified Trading Account (UTA) Loans system. The update increases collateral ratios for traders holding large asset positions.
The new structure raises the top tier's Collateral Ratio from zero to between 10% and 80%, depending on the asset. This means that users with supersized positions will now be able to extract more value from their assets as collateral.
Collateral ratios for other higher position tiers have also been raised across supported assets, allowing users with larger holdings to see more of their assets recognized as collateral.
