Bybit Expands Beyond Crypto with Tokenized US Equities
Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is expanding its offerings beyond crypto-native instruments. The platform has integrated tokenized U.S. equities into its Dual Asset structured product lineup, allowing users to access real-world assets (RWAs) in a familiar crypto workflow.
The initial rollout includes six tokenized equity references: SpaceX, Nvidia ($NVDA), Apple ($AAPL), Alphabet ($GOOGL), Coinbase ($COIN), and Amazon ($AMZN). These assets were chosen for their concentrated investor attention in areas such as AI, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, crypto rails, and space technology.
Bybit's Dual Asset structure allows users to select an xStocks trading pair, a target price (strike), and an investment term. The platform offers tenors of 8 hours, 1 day, and 7 days, with subscription sizes ranging from 30 USDT to 200,000 USDT per order.
The move is part of Bybit's push into RWAs, which are becoming increasingly popular in the crypto market. Tokenization allows for the packaging of conventional assets into familiar crypto formats, reducing friction for crypto-first investors.
