Bybit Expands Copy Trading to Include Equities Through Perpetual Contracts
Bybit has expanded its Copy Trading feature to include TradFi Perpetual Contracts, allowing users to mirror positions on equities such as Tesla (no ticker mentioned), Apple (no ticker mentioned), and NVIDIA (no ticker mentioned) alongside standard crypto pairs.
The Dubai-based exchange announced the update on September 23, marking the first time its copy trading tool has offered exposure to non-crypto assets, with all positions settled in USDT. The move lets Master Traders on Bybit Copy Trading Classic take positions in TradFi Perps in addition to their crypto trades.
Any user following those traders will automatically replicate the equity-linked positions, with position sizing scaled to the follower's allocated funds rather than requiring manual replication of each trade. The mechanics remain consistent with Bybit's existing copy trading structure, avoiding a separate interface for equities exposure.
The three assets named in the announcement are among the most heavily traded companies in US equity markets. However, the announcement does not specify how many additional TradFi assets will be available at launch, or whether the list will expand to include other equities, indices, or commodities over time.
