Bybit, the cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding its services beyond crypto into traditional finance (TradFi). During a recent keynote titled "Make Your Move," CEO Ben Zhou outlined the company's vision for The New Financial Platform, which integrates crypto and TradFi products. Bybit has already established itself as the largest crypto CFD platform, with trading volumes peaking at $100 billion. On October 12, 2026, the company launched stock trading for eligible users, offering access to over 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, tradable with USDC.
The company is also developing mStocks in collaboration with Mantle, a tokenized stock product backed 1:1 by real stocks. This product is expected to launch in November 2026 and will allow for round-the-clock conversion between eligible stocks and mStocks. Additionally, Bybit introduced IPO Express in June 2026, providing users access to selected IPO opportunities at the offering price through tokenized representations of the underlying securities.
Beyond trading and investing, Bybit has expanded into payments with Bybit Pay and Bybit Card, supporting crypto and fiat transfers, merchant payments, and everyday spending. The service connects users with over 5,000 merchants across 15+ countries. Bybit has also invested in security and regulatory infrastructure, intercepting more than 30,000 suspicious withdrawal requests in the first half of 2026 and securing five new licenses and regulatory approvals during the year.
Ben Zhou emphasized Bybit's mission to provide financial freedom, stating, "Bybit is all about giving you the speed and scale you need when you Make Your Move. We have brought trading, investing, payments and AI together, and we are continuing to add more markets and more ways to use them." The company aims to combine crypto markets with stocks, ETFs, derivatives, commodities, FX, pre-IPO access, payments, and AI-powered services within a single platform.
