Bybit Eyes 'Super App' Expansion in Türkiye with Payments and Investment Products

Share

Bybit has set its sights on expanding beyond crypto trading in Türkiye, where it sees significant growth potential. The exchange plans to transform its Turkish operation into a 'super app' offering payments, transfers, and investment products, according to Bybit's CEO Ben Zhou.

Zhou stated that Bybit wants users in Türkiye to use the platform for daily financial needs, including international money transfers, stablecoin payments, and access to investment products. Some of these services would require licenses beyond those available to standard crypto trading platforms.

The company's plan mirrors its 2026 expansion strategy, which introduced plans for banking-style services, custody, and cross-border payments. Bybit has already developed payment products in other markets and connected its Bybit Pay service with over 300 wallets, exchanges, and financial platforms through Mesh.
