Bybit Honored for Efforts to Combat Crypto-Related Cybercrime

Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has been recognized by the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) for its contribution to cybercrime investigations and international cooperation.

The recognition came at the 27th International Symposium on Cybercrime Response (ISCR 2026), held in Seoul from August 27-28. Bybit received a Certificate of Appreciation for strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies and cryptocurrency exchanges, particularly in investigating cybercrime.

Bybit's Head of Law Enforcement, Coco Heng, accepted the certificate on behalf of the company. The recognition highlights Bybit's commitment to working with authorities to combat cybercrime and protect users' assets.

The company has been expanding its security infrastructure and cooperating with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and industry partners globally to detect threats earlier, accelerate investigations, and make illicit activity more difficult to execute and profit from.
