Bybit Partners with Mesh for Seamless Crypto Payments Across Partner Platforms
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has partnered with Mesh to enable direct crypto payments across partner platforms. The integration, which went live on September 3, 2026, allows Bybit users to spend their exchange balances directly on Mesh-connected merchant platforms through Bybit Pay.
The tie-up links Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, to Mesh's network of over 300 wallets and exchanges. This gives Bybit's 80 million registered user base a way to make checkout payments and top up external accounts without having to manually withdraw funds or transfer tokens between separate platforms.
Under the standard crypto payment workflow, an individual holding tokens on a centralized exchange must withdraw assets to a personal web3 wallet, pay network gas fees, wait for confirmations, and transfer money to a checkout address. However, the Bybit Pay setup with Mesh shortcuts this sequence. Users choose Bybit Pay at checkout on supported platforms, authenticate their Bybit account, and spend directly from their existing exchange balance.
Mesh operates the underlying routing rails, which eliminates manual conversions before checkout. The CEO of Mesh, Bam Azizi, said, 'People shouldn't have to move their money to use it. We bring the network to where the money already is.'
