The crypto exchange Bybit has published its Restricted Counterparty List, which includes over 25 platforms that are now subject to strict compliance measures. This list covers a range of categories, including trading and payment platforms, guarantee and marketplace services, coin mixers and privacy tools, and darknet markets.

The list includes names such as Garantex, Bitzlato, HTX, and EXMO, which have been linked to illicit crypto flows. Bybit has emphasized that this list is not exhaustive and that restrictions apply to both direct and indirect dealings with any of these entities.

The move is in line with sanctions regimes already in place across major jurisdictions, including the US Treasury's OFAC list and the EU's consolidated sanctions list. Bybit is aligning its own screening with those frameworks to prevent money laundering, sanctions evasion, or funding tied to designated groups.
