Bybit's 40th Proof-of-Reserves Report Reveals Shifting User Holdings
Bybit, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange known for its derivatives trading and commitment to transparency, has released its 40th proof-of-reserves report. The report, which was tweeted about by @WuBlockchain on September 23, provides important insights into user holdings on the platform.
The latest report shows that user BTC holdings increased by 0.24% since August 26, while Ethereum holdings rose by 2.96%. However, USDT holdings experienced a notable decline of 11.46%, dropping to around 3.59 billion. This significant drop in USDT could be a bellwether for upcoming trends in stablecoin use.
Conversely, USDe holdings surged by 62.41%, reaching approximately 516 million. This suggests a shift towards more innovative crypto assets and how users are allocating their assets within the exchange. Bybit's proof-of-reserves reports are part of its efforts to assure users about the safety and accessibility of their assets.
