Congressman Gilbert Ray Cisneros Jr., a Democrat from California, has recently purchased shares of Coinbase Global Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN). According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission dated September 4th, he bought between $1,001 and $15,000 worth of COIN stock on July 17th.

This is not an isolated incident for Cisneros Jr. He has made several other trades recently, including purchasing shares of Mesabi Trust (NYSE: MSB), Praxis Precision Medicines (NASDAQ: PRAX), Alkermes (NASDAQ: ALKS), and buying more shares of SailPoint (NASDAQ: SAIL) and Glacier Bancorp (NYSE: GBCI). He has also sold shares of Crinetics Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: CRNX), Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE), Viavi Solutions (NASDAQ: VIAV), and FedEx (NYSE: FDX).

These trades are public knowledge due to the requirement that members of Congress disclose their financial transactions. This helps maintain transparency in government and prevents potential conflicts of interest.
