Canaan Reports July Bitcoin Mining Output, Treasury Holdings
Canaan Inc., a global leader in cryptocurrency mining, reported its July bitcoin mining output and treasury holdings. The company mined 46 BTC (Bitcoin) during the month.
The firm's North American non-joint venture fleet maintained an average miner efficiency of 17.9 J/TH (joules per terahash) during July. Joint venture operations increased operating hashrate to 4.20 EH/s (exahashes per second) and installed hashrate to 4.85 EH/s at month-end following disruptions from a wildfire at the Alborz facility.
The company operates 12 active mining projects globally with total operating computing power of 14.24 EH/s and installed computing power of 14.89 EH/s as of July 31, 2026. Canaan has paused mining operations in Ethiopia but the hashrate remains part of installed capacity.
