Canada Unlocks US Access to Spot XRP ETF Options

The Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC) has filed a Form S-20, allowing US investors to trade spot XRP ETF options through a regulated cross-border framework.

This development marks the first time US investors can access XRP ETF options in this way, with no new exchange or product required.

The Evolve XRP ETF and Purpose XRP ETF options are already listed on the Montreal Exchange and cleared by the CDCC, but now eligible US investors can buy and sell those same contracts.

This adds a significant layer to XRP's institutional infrastructure, providing tools for traders to hedge existing XRP positions, express directional views with defined risk, or generate yield through covered strategies.
