Canton Network has secured the top spot in global blockchain fee rankings, according to DeFiLlama. On September 15, 2026, Canton recorded $1.47M in 24-hour fees and $10.82M over seven days.

This is driven by institutional Delivery-versus-Payment (DvP) settlement transactions between banks and asset managers on its permissioned subnetworks.

High-value atomic settlements generate significantly more fee revenue per transaction than retail swaps on public chains, such as Tron ($924K), BSC ($834K), and Solana ($647K).
