Canton Network Unveils Decentralization Manager Framework
The Canton Network has announced the public beta of Decentralization Manager, an open-sourced framework developed by BitSafe. This tool allows applications and institutions to build resilient products that distribute control across multiple independent operators.
Decentralization Manager solves a real problem for builders on the Canton Network by providing pre-built frameworks for token issuance and custody, as well as support for additional products such as DEXs, lending, and structured products. These features enable institutions to continue leveraging Canton's privacy-native architecture while mitigating risk.
The framework has already been proven in production with CBTC, the first non-native asset on Canton, which is using Decentralization Manager to distribute its operations across multiple operators.
BitSafe received a grant of over $1 million from the Canton Foundation Development Fund to support the development of Decentralization Manager. The public beta is now open on the Canton Foundation's GitHub, and builders can reach out to BitSafe to be matched with vetted, institutional-grade node operators.
