Canza Finance Bridges Stablecoins with Real-World Payments Across Emerging Markets
Canza Finance has partnered with Arbitrum and Tevau to develop infrastructure for cross-border commerce in emerging markets. The partnership aims to bridge stablecoins, such as USDT0, with real-world payments.
Africa's digital payments market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030. Informal traders and small businesses pay between 3% to 8% to route payments through correspondent banks, which can take days to confirm and involve exchange rate spreads at every step.
Canza Finance's Autonomous Payment Protocol routes stablecoin liquidity across African payment corridors in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and beyond. The settled liquidity is then loaded directly onto Tevau-powered Visa cards via Arbitrum.
This allows small businesses to settle in USDT0, load a Tevau card, and spend anywhere Visa is accepted. This eliminates conversion losses to local banks, three-day waits for wire confirmation, and middlemen collecting fees up to 4% to move funds.
