Capital B Boosts Bitcoin Holdings by 13 Coins After Raising EUR 0.98 Million
Capital B, a French company, has increased its Bitcoin holdings by purchasing 13 additional BTC, bringing its total treasury reserve to 3,538 BTC. The purchase was made possible after raising EUR 0.98 million through a share sale to asset manager TOBAM.
The funds were raised by issuing 172,978 new shares at an average price of EUR 5.68 each, with TOBAM buying the shares between September 14 and September 22. The company spent approximately EUR 0.97 million of the proceeds on the additional BTC.
Capital B's CEO Alexandre Laizet has stated that the company intends to buy Bitcoin 'as much as possible, as fast as possible' while seeking terms that increase its holdings per share. He emphasized that this is a long-term strategy, and the company relies on raising money through public stock and debt markets to fund its purchases.
