Capital B Expands Bitcoin Treasury with $29M Acquisition
Capital B has expanded its Bitcoin treasury by purchasing an additional 376 BTC for approximately $29 million. This purchase is the largest since September 2025, when the company added 551 BTC to its holdings.
The French Bitcoin treasury company now holds a total of 3,521 BTC, with an overall cost of €309.4 million. The acquisition was made at an average price of €67,182 per Bitcoin, which is significantly below the company's blended acquisition cost across its existing treasury.
Capital B has seen a significant increase in its Bitcoin holdings over time, with a 61.3 BTC gain and a 2.17% yield year-to-date. The company uses various indicators to track its treasury policy, including the net change in Bitcoin's holdings per fully diluted share and the performance of its shares relative to its fully diluted shares.
The latest purchase is part of Capital B's strategy to expand its Bitcoin holdings through capital markets. The company has also issued an ATM for its ordinary shares at a total cost of €1.44 million and achieved €28.7 million in private placements with international institutional investors and strategic investors such as Adam Back and TOBAM.
