Capital B Expands Bitcoin Treasury with New €280K Acquisition
Capital B SA, a Bitcoin treasury company based in Puteaux, France, has continued to build its stack by purchasing an additional 5 BTC for €0.28 million. This new acquisition brings the company's total holdings to 3,145 BTC.
The purchase price of approximately €55,882 per BTC is slightly lower than the company's overall cost basis across its entire treasury, which sits at €90,352 per BTC. The cumulative spend for Capital B's Bitcoin purchases now stands at €284.2 million.
This latest acquisition was funded through an at-the-market capital raise of €0.30 million, achieved by issuing 647,110 new shares priced at an average of €0.47 each. Additionally, the company has confirmed the successful conversion of all 14,195,352 OCA B-01 convertible instruments held by Blockstream into ordinary shares.
Capital B's stated goal is to accumulate 1% of Bitcoin's total supply by 2033, which equates to approximately 210,000 BTC. Currently, the company holds about 1.5% of this target, with its holdings increasing from around 2,000 BTC in mid-2025.
The company's operating business has not been abandoned in the process, as Capital B runs subsidiaries focused on data intelligence, artificial intelligence, and decentralized technology consulting. The use of Swissquote Bank Europe SA and Taurus technology for custody is an institutional-grade arrangement that operates under MiCA regulatory guidelines.
