Cardano ADA Surges to One-Month High Amid Large Holder Buying Spree

Cardano's ADA token reached its highest price in a month, hitting $0.1966 on July 4 before settling at around $0.1933 today, down 0.44%. This comes as the network lost 7,070 non-empty wallets over the past two months, according to Santiment Intelligence.

The rise in ADA's price is largely attributed to large holders driving the move, with those holding between 100 million and 1 billion ADA adding more than 240 million ADA in recent weeks. Smaller wallets moved in the opposite direction, and non-empty wallet count dropped to 4.62 million.

This bounce follows a rough patch earlier in 2026, where analytics and NFT platform shutdowns, governance friction, and thin activity pushed ADA down toward the mid-$0.15 range before this recovery began. Major development updates have kept pace with price action, including the Van Rossem hard fork and Protocol Version 11 going live on mainnet around July 18.
