The system allows Brazilian fashion exporters to prove compliance with EU deforestation regulations without revealing sensitive data by utilizing a dual-ledger system combining Hyperledger Fabric for private data and Cardano for public verification. This approach reduces costs by 92% per record, demonstrating the efficiency of blockchain technology in streamlining business processes.
