Cardano and Dogecoin Surge as Crypto Markets Rally on Sunday
The cryptocurrency market saw widespread gains on Sunday evening, with seven out of eight major digital assets posting positive returns. Investor confidence appeared to strengthen as the new week approached, driving prices higher. Bitcoin led the charge with a 1.32% increase, reaching $85,862.05 and solidifying its position above the $85,000 mark. Ethereum and BNB also climbed, rising 0.64% to $2,704.10 and 0.81% to $793.57, respectively.
Solana and XRP outperformed Bitcoin in percentage terms, with Solana gaining 1.37% to $121.28 and XRP climbing 1.59% to $1.51. The most notable performers were Cardano and Dogecoin, which surged 4.07% to $0.25 and 4.20% to $0.10, respectively. Dogecoin recorded the largest gain among the eight tracked coins, indicating a renewed interest in lower-priced, speculative assets.
The only exception to the upward trend was Avalanche, which fell 0.70% to $11.04. Despite this decline, the overall market sentiment remained positive, with the pullback being relatively minor and failing to overshadow the broader gains.
