Cardano and Remittix Developments Draw Investor Attention
Cardano investors are closely watching developments in both the ADA network and the Remittix project. The upcoming Dijkstra ledger era, targeting late 2026, promises higher throughput and nested transactions, but the timeline remains contingent on developers and stake pool operators meeting milestones. ADA traded at around $0.27 on October 5, and its price momentum will hinge on the adoption of these upgrades.
Meanwhile, Remittix is progressing toward its $0.46 final presale tier for the RTX token, set to conclude before a planned November 24 launch. The project has already attracted over 40,000 participants and raised more than $32 million. Remittix's PayFi service, which converts supported cryptocurrencies into fiat via banking routes, is being tested by 1,000 existing RTX holders, offering EUR and USD options.
Remittix aims to integrate its payment services with an existing wallet and trading platform, potentially creating a recurring customer base. The global remittance market, estimated at $856 billion in 2024, presents a significant opportunity for the project. With its iOS wallet surpassing 10,000 downloads and trading volume exceeding $50 million, Remittix is positioning itself to capture a share of this market.
For ADA investors, the success of the Dijkstra upgrade will depend on its ability to attract activity and support new applications. While the roadmap is clear, price targets like $0.50 or $1 will require stronger demand. Similarly, RTX buyers will be watching to see if PayFi's initial users become repeat customers, setting the stage for broader market interest post-presale.
