Cardano Breaks Out of Downtrend as Bulls Aim for $0.27
Cardano (ADA) has recently broken out of a four-hour descending resistance line, reaching near the $0.269 mark. The cryptocurrency is now testing recent highs, with key support levels identified between $0.258 and $0.260. This move follows a period of consolidation where ADA formed lower highs and lower lows, creating a descending structure on the four-hour chart.
The breakout began when ADA moved above the upper boundary of this descending pattern, pushing past the $0.264 reference level. Current prices hover around $0.268, according to CoinMarketCap data. The former resistance zone around $0.258-$0.260 has now become the first support to monitor, while the next hurdle is the recent highs near $0.269.
For the breakout to gain confirmation, ADA must hold above the former resistance line. If it does, this line could turn into potential support, strengthening the bullish structure. The next significant resistance level is around $0.275, which represents a roughly 4.2% increase from the current price. Conversely, a drop below $0.258-$0.260 would weaken the bullish case and return ADA to the previous descending trend.
Should ADA pull back, the first support levels to watch are $0.258-$0.260, followed by $0.250-$0.253. A deeper reversal toward $0.245 would erase much of the recent breakout momentum. For now, the focus is on whether buyers can defend the $0.258-$0.260 zone and push through the recent highs near $0.269.
