Cardano Buzz Linked to Token Price: Hoskinson
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has made some interesting comments about social media attention surrounding his project. According to Hoskinson, online buzz around Cardano appears closely tied to the price trend of its token, ADA.
Hoskinson's remarks came in response to a post from Adam Dean, a member of the Cardano community, who joked that he would focus on debating GTA 6 instead of discussing Cardano for a month. Hoskinson replied, 'It's almost like it has always been connected to a token price.....'
ADA has indeed seen a recent surge in price, rising above $0.2259 and boasting a weekly gain of about 28.63 percent. This increase coincided with a broader rebound in the crypto market, driven by changes in the U.S. Treasury market.
Despite the online attention, development work within the Cardano ecosystem continues unabated. Intersect is pushing ahead with the Dijkstra hard fork and focusing on impact analysis of individual changes. The Haskell node team is also maintaining its 2026 implementation target, prioritizing stability and quality in their core node software.
