Cardano Celebrates Ninth Anniversary with Strong Blockchain Resilience
Cardano is celebrating its ninth anniversary since its genesis block was launched in 2013. Since then, the network has grown to support over 2,890 stake pools, more than 13 million blocks, and over 123 million transactions.
The Cardano community continues to play a vital role in securing the chain, with engineers and users worldwide casting votes on governance actions. In fact, 36,322 votes have been cast on 158 different actions so far.
Looking at ADA's price action, it's currently trading at $0.25 on the 4-hour chart, within a narrow range defined by Bollinger Bands. While there is some resistance at $0.27 and support at $0.22, technical indicators suggest a possible pullback to the 50-EMA before any potential push higher.
Despite short-term momentum weakness, Cardano's long-term resilience remains intact, with traders noting that its blockchain network is still growing and adapting to new technologies.
