Cardano Chosen by Brazil's Petrobras for Cleaner Fuel Production Tracking

Cardano has been selected by Brazil's state-owned oil giant, Petrobras, to track cleaner jet fuel and diesel production. This move marks a significant adoption of blockchain technology in the energy sector.

Petrobras will use Cardano's (ADA) proof-of-stake consensus algorithm to monitor and verify the production of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and renewable diesel (RD).

By leveraging Cardano, Petrobras aims to increase transparency and accountability throughout its supply chain, reducing the risk of counterfeiting and improving overall efficiency.
