Cardano CTO Giorgio Zinetti Exits Amid Parental Leave

Giorgio Zinetti, Chief Technology Officer at the Cardano Foundation, is leaving his position effective August 31. His tenure at the helm of the organization's technical operations spans approximately two and a half years.

Zinetti joined the Cardano Foundation in May 2024, bringing with him expertise in digital identity and enterprise technology. During his time there, he guided the Foundation's technical strategy, steered product development, and scaled projects to drive broader adoption of the Cardano blockchain.

The Cardano Foundation acknowledged Zinetti's contributions, emphasizing its commitment to maintaining continuity across technical ventures and enterprise initiatives. The organization has not named a successor or outlined interim measures for covering the CTO's responsibilities after August 31.
