Cardano Foundation Becomes First Crypto Org to Get On-Chain Audit

The Cardano Foundation has made history by becoming the first major crypto organization to have its financial statements attested directly on the Cardano blockchain. Grant Thornton Switzerland performed the audit using the Reeve platform, which links traditional accounting with blockchain verification for transparency and tamper-proof records.

The audit, dated March 25, 2026, reported CHF 287.5 million in assets, mostly held in ADA and Bitcoin. This move sets a new standard for transparency in crypto organizations, providing verifiable assurance of financial integrity to the community.
