Cardano Foundation Teams Up with UCLA on Blockchain Education Initiative

The Cardano Foundation has partnered with UCLA's Anderson School of Management to bring blockchain education and support to students and founders. The multi-year agreement will introduce Cardano Academy content into a UCLA course, provide five startup fellowships, and sponsor the 2027 Draper Innovation Showcase.

The partnership aims to connect classroom instruction with practical support for students and founders in UCLA's Venture Accelerator. Five early-stage companies selected for the UCLA Accelerate program will receive sponsored fellowships, providing funding, mentorship, and access to the Cardano ecosystem. Participating companies can explore building on the blockchain.

The Cardano Foundation will also sponsor a masterclass on October 19, covering blockchain, AI, and business applications. Students who complete the session will receive a certification sponsored by the Cardano Foundation. The foundation's director for commercialisation and ecosystem growth, Nadia Mannell, said the partnership will let the foundation work with founders through its Academy and Venture Hub as they develop companies on Cardano.
