Cardano's Input Output Group (IOG) YouTube channel was compromised on September 18, with scammers pushing a fake livestream promising to 'double your wealth'.

The broadcast used AI-altered footage of Charles Hoskinson and included a QR code that viewers were told to scan and send ADA. However, real giveaways never ask for crypto first, according to IOG's own scam-awareness guide.

Despite the hack, ADA price climbed 7.76% in a day and 2.24% over the week, sitting at $0.2140 with a market cap of $7.86 billion, per CoinMarketCap data.

Meanwhile, IndianChain by Trivolve went live on the Cardano mainnet, marking the network's first agritech deployment to bring an Indian state government onto the network.
