Cardano Joins X402 Codebase as ADA Price Faces Pressure
Cardano's crypto assets have officially become part of the x402 codebase after engineers from the Cardano Foundation contributed a native implementation. This integration gives developers direct access to Cardano through x402, allowing them to use Cardano settlement in payment systems for applications and automated agents.
The x402 protocol is an open payments system that enables standard HTTP requests without requiring a card or user account. Until now, Cardano's support for x402 was available only through third-party implementations.
This change brings several benefits to developers building decentralized applications on Cardano. As Phil from UPLC pointed out, it allows developers to use Cardano core code more directly, reducing the need to maintain separate systems and keeping transaction builders in sync with the network.
Despite this positive technical update, the ADA price remains under pressure, with a possible support area around $0.175 to $0.19 identified by Morecryptoonl's analysis using Elliott Wave labels and Fibonacci retracement levels.
