Cardano Poised for First Major Golden Cross of 2026
Cardano's ($ADA) daily chart is on the verge of forming its first major golden cross of 2026, a bullish sign that could indicate further price growth. The moving averages are converging, with the MA 50 steadily rising and about to cross over the MA 200. This would be Cardano's second golden cross in less than a year, following one in August 2025 when the $ADA price briefly reached $0.92.
Cardano has been on an upward trend since its low of $0.19 on September 16, surpassing both the daily MA 50 and 200 at $0.206 and $0.214 respectively. The current price is up 8% in the last 24 hours to $0.256.
Several potential scenarios are possible if the golden cross is confirmed: Cardano could extend its rally, with short-term targets at $0.28 and $0.30, or even $0.42 if intense buying pressure lifts the price. Alternatively, a false breakout could send the price back below the moving averages, weakening the golden cross signal and leaving $ADA trading sideways.
