Cardano Pool Drain Leaves 2.4M ADA Missing and Holders Trapped
Splash's Cardano-based ADA/OADA StableSwap pool was drained of 2.4 million ADA on September 13, leaving OADA holders without a meaningful exit route.
The incident report revealed that one actor removed the funds using two transactions, with an attacker depositing 9,870 ADA before draining the rest.
A code patch has since been implemented to close the documented exploit path, but it does not restore the lost ADA or provide a redemption route for OADA holders.
The issue is compounded by the fact that other OADA venues are close to empty, with most pools holding single- or double-digit ADA balances.
