Cardano Price: Analyst Sees Similarity with 2020 Recovery Setup

The Cardano (ADA) price has been trending lower for months, leading many traders to write it off as dead. However, analyst Cryptollica believes that this sentiment is similar to a period in 2020 when the ADA price was on the verge of a powerful recovery.

Cryptollica notes that Cardano's weekly RSI has fallen to one of its lowest readings in roughly eight years, and the ADA price has returned to a major historical support area. This setup is often seen near turning points, as contrarian investors tend to buy when confidence is at its lowest.

The next major challenge for Cardano is around $0.50, which is the first real test for the asset. If buyers can push past this level, it could signal that a new bull market is on the horizon. However, breaking above $0.50 would not confirm a reversal and each resistance level has to be taken out before any real uptrend can take shape.

The biggest risk for Cardano investors is a breakdown below the $0.20 support level, which could lead to a revisit of the cycle low near $0.10 and invalidate the current recovery setup.
