The Cardano (ADA) token has seen significant price drops in recent times. As of September 28, 2026, its value was $0.247, marking a year-over-year decline of 68%. This slump began after ADA peaked at $0.954 in September 2025 and hit a bottom of $0.138 in June 2026.

The price of ADA has been volatile over the past few months, with a gradual recovery starting in July 2026. However, despite this trend, historical data suggests that October is often a bearish month for Cardano, with only two positive closes out of eight recorded since 2018.

To turn around its trend, analysts suggest that ADA needs to consolidate higher trading volumes and form higher highs and higher lows on weekly charts. Market participants are also keeping an eye on upcoming macroeconomic events, including inflation figures and interest rate decisions from the Federal Reserve.
