Cardano Price Slump Continues Amid Cautionary October Outlook
Cardano's ($ADA) price has taken a significant hit over the past year, plummeting by 68% according to CoinGecko data. This decline began in September 2025 and continued through June 2026, with only one green month (April 2026) out of 10.
The downward trend started after Cardano's price fell from $0.954 in September 2025 to $0.138 in June 2026, resulting in the loss of its weekly MA 50 at $0.451. Since July, the price has rebounded and is on track for its third straight month of gains if September closes positively.
While optimism surrounds October, Cardano's history suggests a different outcome. In eight Octobers since 2018, Cardano has only had two positive closures. A sustained reversal would require stronger trading volume and a series of higher highs and higher lows to confirm improving momentum.
