Cardano Soars Amid Crypto Market Caution
Crypto markets started the Monday session on a generally downbeat note, with most major digital assets trading lower. However, Cardano bucked the trend with a significant rally.
Bitcoin fell 0.55% to $86,040.83, while Ethereum inched lower by 0.44% to $2,714.74. Other major assets like BNB, Solana, and Avalanche also declined, with Avalanche experiencing the steepest loss at 0.95% to $11.00.
On the other hand, Cardano surged 4.80% to $0.27, making it the standout mover of the morning. The gains in ADA were distinct from the broader market trend, suggesting coin-specific momentum rather than any broad risk-on sentiment driving the move.
The session reflects a cautious tone at the start of the week, with selling pressure concentrated among the larger-cap assets. This is in contrast to the modest bright spot offered by Dogecoin, which inched higher by 0.36% to $0.10.
