Cardano Soars on Dijkstra Era, But Can It Hold Above $0.20?
Cardano's price surge has left many wondering if it can maintain its momentum. The altcoin has risen by over 19% in the past week, with daily gains averaging more than 6%. This increase is attributed to the transition into the Dijkstra development era, which allows for direct funding of core development from the community treasury.
This shift has also led to an expansion of the ecosystem, with connections being made to other blockchains. For instance, Cardano has linked up with Injective via The Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), allowing both INJ and ADA tokens to be used across their respective ecosystems.
The increased trading volume has been substantial, jumping by over 78% to $747 million in a single day. This marks a significant increase from the previous daily sum of $412.8 million. The Total Value Locked (TVL) has also risen by around 3%, reaching $88 million.
The whale accumulation has also been notable, with over 240 million ADA tokens being purchased by large players in recent days. This trend suggests that investors are taking a positive stance on the altcoin's prospects.
